RETAILERS in Keith are joining forces to try and provide a Christmas boost for businesses and shoppers.
A number have said they will stay open until 8pm on Thursday, November 30 to try and attract people on to Mid Street.
With the town competing against big city centre such as Aberdeen and Inverness, the businesses want to send out a message that there are quality shops closer to home.
This is the first time in years that something like this has been tried in the town.
Event organiser Linda Gorn, of the Keith Kilt and Textile Centre, said: "I contacted all of the shops and got a really good response. I am delighted that so many are keen to take part."
