DEDICATED young fundraiser Jonathan Edwards hopes to generate another scary amount for charity this Saturday, October 28.
The Cornhill teenager is having his Halloween Coffee Morning this Saturday and this year his chosen charity is JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
He has type 1 Diabetes himself and wants to raise funds to help find a cure. Over 29,000 children in the UK have type 1 Diabetes.
Jonathan has raised thousands of pounds for children’s charities over the last few years after he received treatment for a brain tumour.
The Banff Academy pupil will hold the event at the Hay Memorial Hall, Cornhill from 10am-12noon. There’s pancakes, scones, butteries and home bakes, raffle, sales table, tombola, lucky squares, best carved pumpkin prize and kids free goody bags as well as face painting and tattoos. Captain Tortue clothing range will also be coming along.
